Stay at North Bend Plantation
Spacious bed chambers feature antique armories, period antiques, and private baths. Three large porches offer magnificent vistas of the surrounding fields and countryside, including the 850 acres remaining under cultivation. Grab an old book and coffee, sit in the cool morning, and converse with the other guests or your innkeepers. All rooms have Direct TV and Wireless Internet Access.
The Federal Room
A lovely room featuring a Queen canopy bed and decor of the plantation’s Federal period. Private bath, tub, and shower. The upstairs sun porch provides a beautiful vista of fields, horses, and wild game and is a common area for guests.
The Sheridan Room
This stately room features a grand queen-sized bed with a wood-framed canopy. Embedded with Civil War history, the bed was hit with a cannon ball, now fully restored. The private bath includes a shower.
The Rose Room
A beautiful spacious bed chamber featuring a King bed and an antique armoire with a diamond dust mirror in the center. The private bath includes a shower.
The Magnolia Suite
North Bend’s two-room suite with a shared bath. Each room has a private entrance to the room and a shared bath in between.
- Magnolia Room – This lovely full-size room overlooks the lower ponds, a field of crops, and the pool. This room has a Canopied Queen Rice Bed.
- Maids Quarters – A cozy, quaint room with a double bed overlooks the smoke, dairy, and ice houses.
North Bend’s Common Areas: The Dining Room
A full country breakfast is prepared fresh each morning and plated on fine china with crystal and silver.
